Jane Saraswati Clapham

Dru Yoga & Meditation teacher trainer

Jane is one of Dru's senior Dru Yoga and Meditation teacher trainers, based at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge in North Wales.

She has been teaching yoga and meditation for over 20 years and has a background in psychology which she applies to her meditation teaching and youth work.

Jane founded Dru’s youth courses and is passionate about teaching teenagers how to manage stress with yoga, rather than drugs and alcohol. She also developed the Dru Kids and Teens course– our postgraduate programme to train yoga teachers to teach children and young people.

Jane teaches 'workplace wellbeing' sessions for stress management to adults in Welsh as well as English, and has helped factory workers to relieve back pain and stress. She teaches retreats in the UK, Europe, India and Australia and runs the Dru Meditation teacher training course and Sound retreats in Snowdonia.

Jane teaches innovative sound workshops and has worked one-to-one with people the world over who have been told they can’t sing. Out of her love for singing and mantra work she has created her own ambient relaxation CDs. And building on her passion for the communication she has also written articles in magazines and on online on yoga, meditation and keeping healthy.
