Rita is one of the original founding members of Dru, having taught Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation for over 40 years. 

She is a Director of Dru UK and is co-author of the bestselling book ‘Dance Between Joy and Pain’. As an international presenter, she facilitates many self-development courses drawing on her wealth of knowledge in holistic healthcare, modern medicine, Dru yoga and meditation, detraumatisation principles and eastern sciences. Along with teaching these transformative workshops, she was also one of the instrumental key presenters of the Dru Pathfinders transformation course in the UK. 

Rita began her lifelong interest in health and wellbeing with an honours degree in sociology and by then became a qualified nurse. She pioneered innovative programs for doctors and health professionals that integrated complementary and orthodox medicine.

After deciding to focus more on Dru techniques she went on to deliver specialised, innovative seminars to the business community aimed at stress relief focusing on themes of “taking charge of your own health and life” and “discovering your inner potential and purpose”.  Rita also presented a corporate personal development program called ‘Head and Heart Solutions’.

She travelled to over 31 countries from 1990 - 1992 as part of a unique global peace project called ‘Friendship without Frontiers’ sharing self-help techniques to integrate body, heart and mind.  
Rita has had a lifetime of experience in practical spirituality, sacred singing and Vedanta. She is currently based in North Wales.
