In Chapter 7 of the ancient text of the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna and Arjuna are exploring the reasons behind why we are seeking truth. Are we on a spiritual journey for good reasons? And even within those good reasons are we actually wanting or demanding something from God, or the infinite?
Or, are we 'wise'? And seeking the highest from a place of yearning to connect to the divine? Inevitably seeing perfection in others is a task doomed to failure - because quite simply - none of us are perfect. And yet there is perfection in the universe. So putting our faith and trust into something greater than ourselves can be an important step along our spiritual evolution.
This short video is a perfect gem of a story to remind us that looking for perfection in other people doesn't always pay off...
This short clip is taken from Chapter 7 of Mansukh's award winning documentary series on the Bhagavad Gita. It was filmed waaaaay back in 1999 and although we know it looks old... we love it so much that we decided to share it with you anyway! Enjoy! Love from Annie and the team. x
