Learning to meditate, recharging the body mind and soul is now an essential habit throughout my week, little by little I have improved. I can get to the 'Be Still, just Be' with minor distraction

Be still just Be; I have used this to recharge many times now. I have been kind to myself in amongst all the busyness of life a few days I used it sitting on public transport. I kept my eyes open just had a soft gaze admiring how everyone is unique and wonderful, especially Me.

I have been looking to signs in nature, it is teaching me a lot. A full moon, a squirrel scampering up and down a Giant Sunflower, I left it in situ as a food source, seasonal changes the colour of autumn leaves and how they fall to the earth. I tried to photograph the Squirrel, but it ran off. It was protecting itself just like how I feel this week. My point being everything changes; I have chosen to put the grief I feel ' out of me' never will the gentle young soul be forgotten. I have just shifted it in order for me to have more energy to do what I need to do. Placing my hands inwards resting on my lap; these last few days I can really feel the benefits of taking 25 minutes following exactly all the preparation before relaxing. Thanks

A different experience this week. Last week I felt sleepy actually nodded off one day. Today I listened more carefully to the invitation the words; I was able to allow myself to sit quietly resting down in my heart , stillness building. The best part which I found very supportive was leaving my emotions above me, my heart is sad but I trust the grieving process takes time. My mind was more still, like a mini respite. Thanks, I feel more able to get on with the jobs in hand

Thanks Be still. Just Be; It's a practice of meditation I am familiar with it's not easy though to just Be especially in times of Shock and Grief naturally as you know Alison it's that lousy fight or flight symptoms that feeling in the throat and heart centre. It's at this time after all the formalities are over that energy levels depleted so tomorrow I will take you out into the woods with me. You helped me today with your calming voice, your gentle presence the heart opening reminders coming back to the breath most of all being kind to myself. Life sure is as your colleague Lalita put it a ' Dance Between Joy and Pain'. It's very helpful for me to keep coming back to the practices that have helped in the past why because I have confidence in them they have been tried and tested. Dru on line studio certainly has a great Tool Box full of effective Tools.
