
If you haven’t done the first "Root to Rise - Earth" class yet, it’s recommended that you start with it before doing this slightly more dynamic class.
Building on the slow and steady strength cultivated in the previous class, this video takes you through a similar bell curve of energy - slow to fast and back to slow - to leave your body and mind feeling balanced and clear to help you start the day with equanimity.
We’ll start with some long hold yin poses to create a foundation of steadiness and strength, and then use that base as a springboard to bring vitality and movement into the body. The previous class used the Earth sequence as the inspiration for the flow, whereas the Yang energy in this class is that of the sun - dynamic, bright, warm and stimulating.
