Enjoy this fun, strong TOGA class to help you tone up your legs and glutes.
The glutes and hips are often an area where our bodies store excess fat, so in this class Radha will help us to help tone and shape these muscles. So, what are the glutes? The gluteal muscles are a group of three main muscles which make up the buttocks: the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius and gluteus minimus. These three muscles originate from the ilium and sacrum and insert onto the femur.
Caution: This is an advanced class. If you have any back problems, you are pregnant or suffer from any condition that compromises your capacity to engage in these exercises, please choose a more appropriate class on the site.
1. Warm up
Start off as you mean to go on, with a great warm up session of a dynamic TOGA (toning yoga) version of the Sun Salute (Surya Namaskara). This sequence includes the Runner, the Cobra, the Dog and the standing forward bend.
