I loved the Spirituality of Yoga course. The layering of the teaching of the meditation and the sequence was perfect. It led to a very deep and beautiful experience of  the practices. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge, experience, wisdom and love.

With regard to the Spirituality of Yoga course I really connected with the meditation as I haven’t been practicing for a while and it gave me the boost I needed to start again. All of you guys are so inspirational, I now practice twice a day (mostly) and am really feeling the benefit of a regular practice.

The Spirituality of Yoga course has given me the perfect opportunity to create a much longed for consistent daily yoga practice. I feel this new practice supports my well being and personal development as well as improving how I interact with the people and places around me. Being a part of the SOY course has connected me to so many wonderful people, creating a beautiful feeling of community and friendship, very much appreciated at a time when connection with others has been so limited. The Dru Team made the online version of this course very accessible, with plenty of time to absorb the teachings between sessions and to put in to practice all that was shared. I’m delighted to be a part of the ongoing SOY Sangha and grateful to have this opportunity to both offer and receive support as we continue our spiritual journey together.

In the Spirituality of Yoga course I have learned to intensify my yoga practice, find Dru points and learn beautiful sequences that amongst others help my meditation to flow. About my meditation, well.. I did try to do regularly in the past, but after this course I even like to sit down more often and so I also intensified, still intensify, my meditation. And doing all that I have a lighter heart during the days "off the mat".

The Spirituality of Yoga course was an inspiring programme that helped to reinvigorate my yoga and meditation practice. I loved feeling connected with the senior tutors and spiritual seekers worldwide. As I live in Australia, going to Wales for a spiritual retreat is a wonderful idea and not always practical ... so an online spiritual retreat is the next best thing! It was an awesome experience and I look forward to connecting with the Sangha over the coming year.

The Spirituality of Yoga course has been particularly helpful to me in anchoring my morning wellbeing practice.  I had already started doing a short morning walk in nature, but this now involves me walking barefoot on the grass for part of my walk, and being able to do some yoga outdoors in what has become my sacred space.  This has lifted my mood and I find that I am in a more contented state than previously. Even if there are just little things that I might do some days, such as lighting the candle before I do my practice, selecting a vision card and pausing at odd moments through the day, these small actions are very beneficial and enable me to be not so hard on myself.  I am steadily reviewing the videos but not rushing this process as it takes time for these practices to be understood and appreciated.  Having the ability to watch the sessions repeatedly is tremendously helpful in embedding the learning.   I am enjoying the process of this learning, knowing that I can approach this in a relaxed way and pick out a different session each week or so to review and practice.  I have appreciated the structure of this course being over 3 weeks, where we were able to practice the learning from each session in-between.   It has avoided feelings of being overwhelmed with the amount of content and therefore not really taking anything in because I don't know where to start. There is much more for me to do with the practice that we have been introduced to and this will take some time and it will require some courage and exploration outside my comfort zone, but that is ok.  I know that I can seek help with this as and when I need to.

Being new to Dru Yoga, the Spirituality of Yoga course has provided me with some deep meditation practice, sequences and activations which I can integrate into my daily practice, expanding my knowledge and experience. It has also enabled me to connect with other like-minded people, and to learn from their insights and sharing.

As a recently trained dru yoga teacher I had built up my own daily practice at home greatly influenced by what I had learned on the course and what I felt worked for me. During the DYTT course I was particularly affected by the philosophy assignment based on the spiritual texts which really made me think about how I was living my life and what lessons I could learn from the ancient wisdom. I also felt as if my spiritual self had been lying dormant and was reawakened. This has had a positive impact on my life though I know I have more work to do. It had been  so good to be part of a group  from all different walks of life and age groups who came together because of their experience of Dru. The spirituality of yoga course has given me a similar feeling of connection and an opportunity to fine tune my learning and to focus afresh on the benefits of relaxation and meditation.  Having already established my sacred space, I have expanded on that and taken it into my garden as well. I have rediscovered the pleasure of doing my practice in the garden and simply lying on my mat and contemplating  the sky above me. In lockdown I have the time to journal, to think, to question, to do. Working as part of a group through the zoom sessions allows us to share our experiences, to reflect, to ask questions and to benefit from the insight of questions other people ask. It is a blessing to feel the empathy of others and feel secure within a group of like minded people, all seekers on a path to finding our best selves. Having a shared purpose helps  us to keep practising and exploring the possibilities. I'm very happy to have this opportunity to continue on my spiritual journey.
