Aja Krystall

Aja Krystall began her Dru Yoga journey at just 16 and has been immersed in yoga, meditation, and holistic living ever since. With training in three yoga styles and Dru Meditation, Aja is known for her unique way of explaining concepts—helping students understand not just how yoga works, but why it matters.

Her experience spans both dynamic and deeply restorative styles. Whether she’s guiding a strong, breath-led class or holding space for quiet reflection, Aja’s teaching helps people reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and find joy in movement.

A seasoned retreat facilitator, Aja spent seven years teaching yoga and designing Ayurvedic-inspired menus at Watamu Treehouse in Kenya. Her love of conscious cooking has roots in everything from vegan fine dining in Amsterdam to macrobiotic mentorship and time spent learning Ayurvedic principles at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge.

Aja’s go-to practices include EBR 3 and the Earth Sequence—powerful tools that deliver fast, embodied results. She also draws inspiration from books like Face to Face with Life and The Secret Power of Light, which offer deep insights into Dru’s early foundations and spiritual wisdom.

At the heart of her approach is Dru Yoga’s ability to create space—space to feel, to slow down, and to experience non-judgmental awareness. “After just a 75-minute class,” she says, “you leave feeling calm, joyful and more connected. It’s truly remarkable.”
