And although western society gives us almost no training to prepare for this most important moment in our lives, humanity has evolved a vast body of wisdom to help us make this one of the most remarkable and fulfilling experiences we'll ever have.

'Living with the end of life' aims to bring you that wisdom.

Born out of Andrew's experiences in war zones, helping refugees heal emotional trauma, this online course brings you Dru Yoga's vast expertise in healing the hardest moments of our lives. It's been tried and tested in war zones, in refugee camps, in hospitals, in everyday life.

And now it's available to you.

Fortunately, the technology and wise advice does exist. It is available in many cultures, to some extent in psychology, and very much so within the yogic background.

So, this course will give you inspiration and techniques from the immense body of knowledge accumulated in the yogic background to make the journey towards the end of life - and beyond that - awesome and amazing.
What you’re going to be experiencing in this online course is the culmination of much of our work in taking yoga into war zones, helping people who have been traumatised by such experiences.
And it’s designed to help you really understand how you can help people deeply feel loved as they make their journey towards the end of their life. How you can help people experience what that journey actually means, and how you can become a contributing factor in their journey. How you can take the helplessness out of the situation, and turn it into help-fullness.

Finally, we will explore why it is so painful and why it is so difficult, for us. Because for sure, the experience of being near someone – especially someone we love – as they make the journey through the final weeks of their life and then after that is really, really difficult.

It is normal for us to be exhausted and considerably traumatised by the experience. It liberates massive forces within our psyche. I hope that I can give you some simple to use tools and techniques from within the yogic tradition that will make it possible for you to integrate those forces and heal, in a matter of weeks and months, rather than the norm in our society which is months – years – and even decades.

So what do we do? How can we make the most of this situation? How can we make it valuable and important – not only for them, but for ourselves?

Andrew Wells

Known and loved for his tremendous compassion and empathy, Andrew Wells is one of the pioneers of Dru’s work in war zones, training community leaders in whole-being approaches to healing emotional trauma. One of Dru’s most senior trainers he has taught in nearly all of the world’s major cultures in all continents except Antartica. When he’s not teaching, he runs Dru’s worldwide website systems, using technology to build community, science to create art, poetry to create spirituality.
