FREE Yoga Through the Lens of Ayurveda – Yoga for the Doshas

In this FREE 45-minute online session, we’ll explore how to adapt yoga practices to balance Vata, Pitta and Kapha — so your practice truly supports your unique constitution.

Discover how yoga becomes even more powerful when guided by the wisdom of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda teaches that you are each made up of a unique combination of the three doshas:

  • Vata (air & space)
  • Pitta (fire & water)
  • Kapha (earth & water).

When these energies are balanced, you feel vibrant, calm and clear. But when your personal dosha constitution is out of balance, you may feel anxious, irritable, sluggish or depleted.

Yoga, when practised with awareness of the doshas, becomes a precise and intelligent healing tool. In this experiential session, Karan Walsh and Donna Davies will guide you through:

  • Grounding and calming practices for Vata;
  • Cooling and softening practices for Pitta;
  • Energising and uplifting practices for Kapha;
  • Breathwork and subtle awareness to regulate your nervous system;
  • Simple ways to personalise your own yoga practice.
