Description

This Ayurveda health CPD session is the opening session of the Dru Ayurveda Health Coach Series 1 — a continuing professional development programme designed exclusively for graduates of the Dru Ayurveda Health Coach diploma.

Led by Dr Janey Fitzgerald, the session explores the Ayurvedic perspective on gut health and the microbiome — a subject that sits at the meeting point of ancient wisdom and modern clinical understanding. Ayurveda has long placed Agni (digestive fire) at the centre of its model of health, recognising the gut as a primary site of both physical and energetic balance. This session brings that perspective into conversation with contemporary thinking on the gut microbiome, offering Ayurvedic health coaches a framework they can draw on confidently with clients.

The live event has now passed, but a full recording is available to purchase and access in your druyoga.com account, allowing you to explore the material in your own time and return to it as needed.

This Ayurveda gut health CPD session includes:

  • A clinical talk by Dr Janey Fitzgerald on the Ayurvedic perspective on gut health and the microbiome, with time for questions and discussion
  • A case presentation — an anonymised real-world case brought by a Dru Ayurveda Health Coach — followed by small-group discussion of diagnosis and treatment approaches
  • A spiritual attunement rooted in Ayurvedic practice

This session is for:

Graduates of the Dru Ayurveda Health Coach diploma who wish to deepen their understanding of Ayurvedic approaches to gut health, build clinical confidence, and continue their professional development.

Two CPD hours are available for Dru Professional Network members. Practitioners from other schools are advised to check with their own associations regarding CPD recognition.
