This Ayurveda CPD inflammation session is the opening session of Series 2 in the Dru Ayurveda Health Coach continuing professional development programme — designed exclusively for graduates of the Dru Ayurveda Health Coach diploma who wish to deepen their clinical knowledge and confidence in practice.
Each session in the series follows a consistent three-part structure, allowing you to build both knowledge and practical skill over time. Session 1 focuses on inflammation — a topic that sits at the intersection of Ayurvedic and biomedical understanding, and one that Dr Janey Fitzgerald, with her thirty years of NHS experience as a GP, is particularly well placed to explore.
This Ayurveda CPD inflammation session includes:
- A spiritual attunement rooted in Ayurvedic practice, to open the session and settle the group
- A clinical talk by Dr Janey Fitzgerald on inflammation as a root cause of illness, with time for questions and discussion
- A case presentation — an anonymised real-world case brought by a Dru Ayurveda Health Coach — followed by small-group discussion of diagnosis and treatment approaches
Replays of the session are available, both to support your learning and for occasions when you are unable to attend live. Topics across the series are shaped by the group’s developing needs and interests, making this a responsive and genuinely collaborative programme.
This session is for:
Graduates of the Dru Ayurveda Health Coach diploma who are looking to extend their clinical understanding, build confidence in working with clients, and continue developing their Ayurvedic practice in community with peers.
Two CPD hours are available for Dru Professional Network members. Practitioners from other yoga schools are advised to check with their own associations regarding CPD recognition.
