Masterclass - Befriending the vital forces within you - Friday 6 Nov 2020

6 November, 2020
(Registration open till December 2025)

Within you lives the power of deep intuition and currents of courage, strength and even leadership. You just have to access them!

Tonight, Andrew Wells and Petra Opsteeg will take you into a magical experience of the majestic strengths within your inner self. These are the Heros, the Sheros, the strengths within that have brought us success so far in life. Texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and more give you insights, methods and mantras for liberating these inner powers.

Each fascinating character in these scriptures represents an internal aspect of your own inner world. Through music, yoga, mantra, relaxation, meditation and profound insights, we aim to help you actually form a living relationship with these strong heros and sheros of your psyche.

We've all wondered why we find some things easy to do and other things really difficult. Tonight, discover how the characters and forms within yoga's ancient texts actually describe vital forces within you and how to befriend them to you become the 'You' that you've always known is within.

So..., if God could speak to you from within your own psyche, what would S/He say? What strength and vast abilities would flow into your life as a result of following the core of your inner intuition? Gandhi used this approach, and based the vast outpouring of his entire life’s work and philosophy on the teachings of a mere 36 lines in a single chapter.

Tonight, discover for yourself how to harness the powers within the writings of the ancient texts of yoga, and liberate the vital forces within you.

When I came along to a Youth course at Dru I didn’t really know what to expect as I had no prior experience with any yoga. But it was a really enjoyable experience and I’m glad I made the decision to go.
The people on the course were all really nice, and I’m friends with everyone I’ve met through the retreats.
Also, the food is really incredible, you will love it.
I’ve always had really tense back and shoulder muscles, resulting in poor posture and poor shoulder flexibility. Even though at first difficult if you stick with it you will eventually see results, as I have.
If you’re considering coming to a Dru Youth retreat I would recommend it, and I found it to be really worhwhile

A great confidence builder/giver. A place to feel loved and nurtured. I felt the benefit I gained from working with others was fundamental and invaluable to the start of my learning process.

I didn't know what to expect from this course but found that it fitted me perfectly. Although I love coming up to Wales, having the sessions in the comfort of my own home with the videos to watch again and again was a great substitute.  Just a shame I can't get anyone to cook all the wonderful vegetarian food for me!
I loved the outside session with Annie and Radha and I particularly liked Andrew's meditations, I managed to ground myself deeper than I ever have before.  The tutor groups were really good and I like being part of a sangha!  I think it would be great if you offered some courses like this in future, when everything has sorted itself out, it was amazing that you had people from all over the world joining in
