Carly Kite Dru Yoga and / or Meditation teacher in Rickmansworth Hertfordshire United Kingdom
I live in Rickmansworth with my husband and two daughters.
I discovered Dru Yoga in 2004 after experiencing different styles whilst backpacking in Asia and Australia. Dru Yoga & Meditation quickly became my favourite due to it's accommodation of all abilities and spiritual focus. I started training as a Dru Yoga Teacher in 2013 following various retreats at the Dru headquarters in the Snowdonia mountains. This has strengthened my own self-development, as well as giving me new opportunities to help others. I completed the two year, 200 hours training in 2015 and in 2016 completed a Healthy Back post graduate course. I regularly attend specific focussed CPD training days.
In 2018, I started volunteering on the Teacher Training Course, therefore, I continue to have regular contact with my senior masters and gain experience teaching students to become teachers themselves.
In 2017 I completed an Ayurvedic Massage course, fully accredited with the CMA (Complementary Medical Association). This is taught by Shona Sutherland and her team. She is a senior Dru Yoga Teacher Trainer and an Ayurvedic Practitioner / Trainer.
In 2020, I completed the Dru Meditation Teacher training course.
I am passionate about Dru Yoga & Meditation and how it has changed my life over the years. I now wish to share my knowledge and assist students on their journey through change and growth. My classes are small and welcoming, creating a very calm and peaceful atmosphere throughout. We also have lots of giggles and make it fun.
