My typical Dru Yoga session consists of a short activation, usually to music, to get the circulation flowing and to get the body moving. This is followed by an Energy Block Release sequence. This is a series of beautiful flowing movements aimed at increasing the flow of energy around the body and releasing any tension from the muscles and joints. A session will normally also include a breathing exercise and a posture. Every session finishes with a relaxation of a minimum of 10 minutes.

I am an intuitive teacher who loves helping those who come to my classes benefit from and develop their own love of yoga. I have a holistic approach to teaching, explaining what each posture is doing for your body, for you emotionally, mentally and energetically and any ways you can adapt the posture to meet your body's own individual needs. I teach simple meditation and breathing techniques to reduce stress and anxiety during class and always finish with a very nourishing, deep relaxation.
