Hello, I'm Mona and together with the rest of the Dru Leeds team we would like to invite you to come along to our workshops and tasters. I am passionate about sharing Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation as I believe they enable people to be the best they can be.  By bringing awareness and stillness into our lives, Dru allows us to see the results of our thoughts, words and actions.  This empowers people to take charge of their lives. What makes Dru Yoga special?

In the stillness we are able to sit back from everything happening around us, and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm.

There are many different types of yoga and the difference between them depends on what they focus on. Many people appreciate Dru because anyone can do it, regardless of age, body shape or ability. Dru is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. It is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, yet it can take you to any level of fitness you’d like, improving your strength, flexibility and building core stability.

Dru specialises in integrating your body, mind and spirit. Dru uses classical yoga and meditation techniques to help you positively transform how you think, how to keep your emotions uplifted as well as how to revitalise your body. You will always feel great when you do Dru!

What does Dru mean?

Dru comes from the Sanscrit word dhruva, which refers to the stillness that can be experienced in Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation. In the stillness we are able to sit back from everything happening around us, and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm.

Dru Meditation

Dru Meditation will help you find that still place. It will bring peace when you are anxious. If you feel exhausted, it will give you energy. Instead of rushing to the end of the week to get some peace, learn how to tap into your inner stillness each day.
