Why Dru?

Dru - yoga, meditation, relaxation

This is just what I need ...

What so many people appreciate about Dru is that anyone can do it, regardless of age, body shape or ability. Dru is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements and yet it can take you to any level of fitness you'd like. It is both deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Dru yoga uses visualisations and affirmations to help you positively transform how you think and keep your emotions uplifted. You will always feel great when you do Dru!

What does Dru mean?

Dru comes from the Sanscrit word dhruva, which refers to the stillness that can be experienced in Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation. In the stillness we are able to sit back from everything happening around us, and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm. Instead of rushing to the end of the week to get some peace, learn how to tap into your own inner stillness each day.

Dru is for YOU

So whatever your age and ability, Dru Yoga and Meditation will suit you. Whether it is in a class situation or a private 1:2:1 session where you will have a session tailored to your own individual needs, you will benefit. Annie, Sylvia and the Dru Manchester team are looking forward to meeting you.

Dru - the perfect antidote to stress

Whatever your day has brought you, a Dru Yoga class is just what you need!

A Dru Yoga or Meditation class is the perfect way to unwind after a stressful day. Our Dru teachers will help you to strengthen your body and calm your mind resulting in a happier, healthier you. Using classical yoga postures, Energy Block Release sequences, Dru Yoga postures and sequences, breathing and meditation techniques and soothing relaxations we help you keep mind, body and soul healthy and in balance. Or simply relax and unwind with a therapy tailored to your needs ...
