The workshop was friendly, stimulating and a nice venue. I enjoyed learning new postures, the different layers of postures, diaphragmatic breathing. It was very clear, a good pace, informative on all levels. Great kindness and care from all tutors.
Participating in the course has helped me to go deeper and experience things about myself that I have not experienced before. It brought up emotions and has enabled me to find tools that help me to deal with them. I am a lot more confident in everything I do; I feel comfortable with myself, my life and now find that I am able to deal with everything which comes my way. My language has developed and I now feel confident to use words to try and take my students into experiencing all kosha levels.
Dru invites you to work at a much deeper level, it is an inside out journey. When you arrive at that place where you realise the commitment required, jump in, embrace it, live it and breathe it.
“This was a truly inspiring and life changing experience that has given me priceless gifts and tools to take away into my everyday life towards positive practice.”
What I'll take from today's yoga postgrad workshop:- My favourite part was the Salutation to the 4 Directions. I love doing and teaching this already, but really enjoyed using colour and affirmations within the sequence.
This was a lovely and deeply nourishing day.
Some of the kindest, most inspiring people I have ever come across. I am leaving with a whole new family unit and support network.
Having the opportunity to be in touch with the gratitude within and the abundance in all of us.
Excellent masterclass at a lovely venue. I've wanted to learn EBR8 for a long time. It was well worth it and I've enjoyed catching up with friends and colleagues.
I’ve experiences the postures as never before. We looked at them in so much detail I could really see and feel the benefits. Working in pairs was useful with a member of staff on hand to observe.
What I'll take from today's yoga postgrad workshop:- A found it a very holistic day. Sharing the teaching of postures with the others was very useful and I loved the Salutation to the 4 Directions. As usual, great resources and excellent teaching from Anne & Padma. Thank you.
I can’t say which is better: the amazing people here or the food!
The teaching/learning has been fantastic, however there have been many other benefits on a more personal level that I hadn’t expected. Being immersed in yoga, with wonderful people in a beautiful setting has allowed me to ground myself, reflect and focus. Thank you and I can’t wait for module 2.
You will never regret coming on a Dru Dance module. It will bring you to life and fill you with enthusiasm and dynamism. A beautiful way to spend some special time
“When you bring together a group of people who perhaps do not know each other very well and within a week they are able to dance together in joy… it must be worth a look.”
The Dru Youth courses have completely changed my life over the years I’ve come. They’ve given me the tools I need to stay positive, grounded, and handle life in ways I would never have been able to without it.
This course teaches yoga which everyone can do at all levels and stages so it’s really accessible. The teachers are real pros and have amazing experience to back up the knowledge. My personal practice has improved a lot, so has my memory, concentration, calmness and alertness. I also made very strong friendships with like-minded people.
What I'll take from the postgrad workshop today:- I loved the way this flowed from information and reflection to practical yoga practice (and back again). it was a very satisfying day on every level, physical, mental and emotional. Thank you so much.
Coherence / flow / good management / joy / serenity. Delighted to take part and learn some new and exciting interpretations of yoga. Very happy that you opened this masterclass out to non-Dru yoga teachers.
After completing the first module, I have been given the most amazing insight of how unique Dru Yoga is. I feel excited, inspired and cannot wait to learn more, the way the course is put together and paced is very well thought out, the course materials and the staff are amazing and supportive.
There was lots of variation, some easy, some more challenging. Lots of explanation about how to move and the theory behind the moves. I love to know stuff :).
Dru is the power tool I use to clear the debris from my body and mind.
I feel like this course is enabling me to discover myself, module by module - whether I wanted it or not deep soul searching is ensured and a new ‘me’ is emerging.
I enjoyed the challenging yoga moves with Padma before and after lunch. It was a beautiful day for me - an opportunity to take care of my wellbeing and remind myself of good practice that I can do at home, with kindness to myself.
I enjoyed the whole experience of the Karma Yoga retreat. Great programme for volunteers. I felt appreciated for work done. Felt that everyone worked as a team. Teachers on yoga retreat were great teachers.
The venue is stunning. I felt refreshed and inspired to come again to Karma Yoga retreat in near future. I am considering going on Foundation course and possibly teacher training course
Dru Yoga is like an onion, peeling the layers to discover who you are and want to be!
It’s like a spider's web - you can delve into so many facets of physical practice, to the food you eat, to your emotional well-being. All ending in the an amazing feeling of well-being.
Having attended classes for over a year it was really good to have a taster of a longer session and different poses, breathing techniques. Felt very centred.
